Guinea Pigs are very social creatures that thrive in the company of other pigs. Because of this fact we do not rehome single guinea pigs unless the animal is to be a companion for the guinea pig (s)you already have. So please count on adopting at least a pair or trio of guinea pigs. We only adopt out same sex pairs or neutered male/female pairs.

Our adoption fees are:

• $35 for one single guinea pig
• $50 for a same sex pair
• ***Neutered males have an adoption fee of  $50 for a neutered male and $75 male/ female pair.

FOSTER ALERT!!  We recently took in some pigs with heart conditions.  Heart disease in Guinea pigs is not unusual and they can live perfectly normal, happy and long lives if given medication daily. They can be integrated with regular pigs and do not need to live separately.
We also have a few pigs that are super tame and confident but can’t help “nipping” at fingers every now and then. What is interesting is that these pigs have extraordinary, curious and outgoing personalities. 
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SPECIAL FOSTER HOMES FOR THESE PIGGIES! If we can find permanent foster homes for these kids we can save more shelter pigs since we will have more room available.

NOTE ABOUT BABY ADOPTIONS - baby guinea pigs (8 weeks and younger only) are 1 per family and must either  be adopted with a same sex or neutered guinea pig that is older than 8 weeks or as a buddy for an existing guinea pig.
